Back Alley in My Hometown.

Most of these as the title implies were taken behind Main Street in little ol' Springville Utah.

More deliciousness that is my niece.

Yeah that title pretty much sums it up. It's been a crazy past few months. During that time I went on a family trip to the Northern Californian coast. Of course I had to shoot immense amounts of my favorite subject, SWAYZI! Here she is in all her sassy, moody, funny, sweet and charming glory.

Pure and Sweet

I cannot believe that my God Daughter, Austyn is going to be eight and will be baptized this year! She is too little isn't she?! It doesn't see that long ago that I was sitting at the hospital with her mom waiting for her to be born. And I swear it was five minutes ago that I was trying to style her little baby hairs to bring her and her sister to the temple to be sealed to their parents. That is crazy how fast time flies! I am so proud of her. She is turning out to be an amazing little lady. You are beautiful Stynner Ninner! I love you!

SnOw FUN!

Park City can be crazy weather wise. It is always beautiful up here, just very unpredictable. Sometimes the fog rolls through this little cove/canyon where we live and you can't even see to the other side. However sometimes God sends a perfect little postcard worthy scene where there is just enough fog to look soft an serene but not so little that you can see how dull and brownish gray the winter mountains can be. Friday was one of those gorgeous days. I had to drag the kids out back to take a picture or fifty. They were good sports plus is helped that they could walk two steps and be back in their playroom ;) SO here we are. Enjoy!

Soft

I got a little artsy with this one. I usually lean toward the natural, but my photo illustration professor would be peeved if I didn't use my artsy techniques once in a while. (Here it is Simon)

Beautiful Belly!

Have I mentioned that I love maternity pictures? Because I do! They are such a neat experience. I admit that I do enjoy a level of vicarious living when I photograph these beautiful mommies to be. I have not had the experience of a pregnancy myself but doing these portraits, I can't wait! These women that I get to work with all just glow. You can feel the excited anticipation that they feel when they gaze at and lovingly cradle their bellies. I especially love when the dads to be join their partners. They are so gentle and humble. It is just a beautiful experience for all involved.

This particular beautiful mommy is my cousin Tiffany. I've had the privilage to also do her engagements, bridals, and family portraits as well so I kind of feel like I get to come full circle with documenting important moments in her life. Love ya Tiff!!!

Muppets are Funny

Totally has nothing to do with photography. But at the bottom of this page you will find a muppet video spreading the word about volunteering and getting a free day at Disney. I am obsessed with all things Disney.
In other news I did another maternity shoot last week that was so super fun! I will post those images as soon as I am finished with them.
Happy muppet watching!
P.S. turn off the music before you watch
